ABOUT NORE DAVIS

Nore Davis is a comedian, actor, and writer whose work transforms personal struggle into universal laughter. Born in New York City and raised in Yonkers, Davis began performing stand-up in the mid-2000s and has spent nearly two decades building a reputation as one of comedy’s most versatile voices.

His television credits include Conan (2018), three appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (2023–24), HBO’s Boardwalk Empire and Succession, Comedy Central’s Inside Amy Schumer, Amazon’s Puppy Love, Apple TV+’s Dickinson, and Netflix’s Survival of the Thickest (2023). In 2023, Fox developed Guards, a single-camera comedy created by, starring, and executive produced by Davis. Although the deal fell through during the SAG-AFTRA strike, he pivoted quickly to launch Grownchild, a self-produced pilot presentation rooted in his own story of grief, depression, and family reconciliation.

As a recording artist, Davis has released seven comedy albums and specials. His debut Home Game (2014) has over 3 million streams, followed by Too Woke (2018), which was named one of Vulture’s “Top Ten Comedy Albums of the Year.” During the pandemic, he recorded LIVE from the Comedy Trap House (2020) entirely over Zoom—earning praise from The New York Times and VICE as a groundbreaking comedy time capsule. Later works include NORI (2022), ELEMENT: A Solo Show Film (2024), and 40 (2025). He is currently developing his eighth project, My Inner Child Said What?!, alongside a larger stand-up special, Generation Curse, which explores generational trauma and healing.

Living with sickle cell anemia, Davis weaves resilience, vulnerability, and inner-child work into his art. With nearly 20 years of stand-up, acclaimed albums, network deals, and streaming roles, Nore Davis is a singular storyteller—offering both commercial appeal and a deeply human voice for this generation.
